The final ward — candidate feedback
The native expert-controller run 37578153111 lost to Chaos in Watch 2 while hull was ~89.1, spirit ~96.5 and mechanical heat/pressure remained healthy. The ordinary instruments showed mechanical survival much more clearly than the approaching religious loss. This change supplies a material witness of aggregate peril without identifying a hidden sender or prescribing a ritual answer.
The ward wax remains seated below 35 strain, stains from 35, splits from 60 and loosens from 82. These are original game thresholds, not canonical Warhammer procedures. The footer names the wax condition; it does not expose a numerical corruption counter. A loosening ward gives the existing urgent mechanical cue and reuses the priest's actual independent-witness recording. Its subtitle remains the words in that recording. No new voice, model, ambience or local heavy job was generated.
The duty card raises an outstanding *reported* sign to urgent attendance. It chooses from already presented reports, not hidden taint, sender flags or future incidents. With no established report it routes to the shrine and explicitly says the source is not established. An immediate bodily threat or catastrophic cooling still takes precedence. The field manual explains why healthy machinery does not certify spiritual safety.
Ordinary browser input on the separate QA origin restored the saved crisis and showed WARD SEALS · SPLITTING at ~74.9 strain. It was paused and returned to the separate field exercise. The creator's canonical saved watch was not used. The seated readout was inspected at 1280×720 and 390×844; the narrow page stayed 390 pixels wide, supplies were on a separate line, and the ward text remained inside the viewport. Evidence: desktop, narrow. The narrow view also exposed an existing overlap between the weapon button and floor instruction. The actual corrected 390×844 page has width390, a weapon rectangle at y502.72/h32.30 and instructions at y605.02/h37, with no overlap. The viewport override was reset after inspection.
A wound already fitted with a paid seal explicitly permits finishing without another reagent. When no unused seal remains, guidance describes the existing three-shot emergency cautery, counts the remaining charred contacts and states its debt to the spirit. If neither a seal nor enough rounds remain, it describes the actual limit rather than promising free purification. These witnesses report work already visible on the seam, not a future hidden source. The priest's recent quiet witness line can escalate once to the urgent warning without being silenced by its ordinary repeat cooldown.
Focused checks verify that a critical ward can warn with healthy hull/spirit, cannot identify an unreported concealed source, routes only through presented reports, leaves immediate cooling critical priority intact, and limits repeated urgent voice/cues. The covenant's visible and accessible depressed-contact state now follows actual held input and clears on pause. These are feedback/interaction changes; campaign difficulty, preparation costs, hidden-source rules and creature damage remain unchanged.
Remaining review: actual critical-ward crisis screenshot/audio, subsequent full native campaign outcome on both platforms, sustained human play, creator listening and integrated art acceptance. Public v0.5.1 remains unchanged pending the candidate checks.
